This tube sounds great in the truck. The bottom in fills nicely. Sounds deep and hits about as hard as my old single voice coil 10's used to sound in my S-10. The only downfall is that the single seat in the crew cab won't raise from the floor up anymore, but it does fold top to bottom. The speaker wire is long enough to pull out and set in front of the seat if I need to put it up or simple disconnect it and put it back in later. I have a 300 watt Alpine sub amp pushing it and had to turn off the bass boost gain because it was drouning out everything else in the truck if you didn't have it cranked all the way up. Sounded great, but not for daily low listening levels. The power gain is about 3/4 of the way up. Not bad for $400 including install.

Hey that tube tucks away real nice down there. Sweet!
One question tho, how do you have your Alpine pre-amp wired into your system? Do you have the RF setup (mine does)
Thanks
John

No, they used a low line converter off of the right rear speaker leed. Worked out just fine. I have the six disc in dash unit.

I'd love to find a subwoffer that'll tuck away like that but still provide all functionality of the seats. If you hear of anything like that, please let me know.
PS - That setup look great!

You probably won't fnd one that allows the seat to still work as that is where the top of the goes when lifted. Like I mentioned all you have to do is disconnect two wire and pull the sub out when needed, or just move the sub to the front of the seat in the cargo area for the short time it will be up. There are a couple of companies that make regular truck boxes for the Titan. Just go on yahoo and search : Nissan Titan Subwoofer Boxes. You get several different companies.

Does Bazooka still make their 6 inch tubes? A pair of them might work but now the cost of the project doubled. Just a thought.

They do male a 6", but it won't sound any better than if you put a pair of 6" midbasses in the rear door. I wouldn't go for less than an 8". Chaeck out their web site for more info on the products.
