installed a tow hitch and wired the harness from the bumper. tested my connector and everything was ok(signal light, hazard light) except for the park light. do i need to buy a relay? my friend told me to have dealer check the harness coming from the truck. he tested it and it seems to be the truck's harness that is having problem. thanks

Yes you need to go and buy relays for your running lights. I found this out after trying to put a wiring harness on mine too. Just go to your dealer and ask for relays for the wiring harness.

If you buy the hitch from the dealer, shouldn't it come with all necessary accesories?

Ok, I just wanted to make sure when it came time for me to purchase my tow hitch that I knew what I was supposed to get. I've read around that buying from the dealer gives you everything you need, plus usually a higher price tag, where as buying from someplace else gives you a cheaper price, but short on proper equipment.

i got the hitch and connector at etrailer.com. got it at $160. not bad considering dealer charge more. it didn't take me 20 min. to put it up and get it going. thanks big bear for the info.
