I was wondering if this was an issue of the truck or me being a moron. I have an extremely difficult time getting the outside storage box to close and lock. I have to slam it a few times before it will stay shut. Is anyone else having this issue or am I closing it incorrectly?
TIA,
Ron

I have to slam mine also. I'm not concerned enough to bother the dealer with it, though.

I am glad I am not the only one. I may call the dealer to let them know about it, but I don't feel like taking them my truck, I would rather them not brake something else in the meantime:)

I had that issue, but called the stealership and they adjusted the striker and it works a little better...i still have to semi-shut it.....as long as it doesnt open while driving i'll live with it.

It could be that the seals take a while to break in. It could be worse, I have two small dents in the door from having to slam it so hard.

I dented my hood the first week I got the truck. I thought i was being careful and letting it down easy, then I had to push down with the palm of my hand to get it to shut completely...when I did I dented it right on the curve... ...I popped out about 50% of it with a DingKing...no one prolly ever notice it but me now..
