OK Here's the deal.

I have an 04 Titan LE.  I've had it for about 6 months.  I love it.

My wife just got an 04 Murano.  Love the thing.

What could be wrong with having your driveway look like a Nissan dealership????

The keys are identical.  The remotes are identical.  She's always unlocking mine on accident or taking my keys.

Does anyone know if there is a way we can get some custom keys and or remotes made?????

Her remote unlocks your truck? will her key fit your ignition and start it as well?  If this isnt the case, just get different keychains.

Maybe color code the FOB or the key itself somehow?

No, her key/fob doesn't unlock mine.  She just takes my keys on accident and unlocks my truck all the time.  Then, when she realizes the Murano is still locked up, she realizes what she's done.

We already have different keychains, but that's not enough.  And..I don't want some big, tacky looking keychain.

I was hoping there was a way to get color-coded keys or remotes...or something.  I just don't want it looking cheesy.  For example, a friend told me to use white-out on the fob.  I didn't pay $60,000+ on vehicles to have white-out on my key-chains.

Her car has a "valet key" that came with it.  It's the same design, but the key is red instead of black.

I guess I was hoping someone might be aware of other options....

Keep yours on your side of the dresser if you have one. Or keep em by your wallet.

My Fairlady remote wont open/lock the Titan and the Skyline remote won't open/lock either car. None of them are cross compatible and are not meant to be from what Nissan just stated on the phone. Nice to see you have a way to break in to your own cars or screw with each other. Don't lose that thing as a thief would love it.
