I've noticed some for sale on E-bay with the on going rotor problems, I was thinking it would remedy my problem.  Question is, has anyone swapped out his or her rotors for aftermarket if so did it fix the brake problem?  My truck has been to the dealer 3 times now for resurfacing .  My dealer (Quality Nissan of Temecula) has new brakes on order but I told them there had better be some rotors on order too.

So any advice on cross-drilled rotors?

No clue Gunny. I know when I had the Durango - lots of folks went after-market, as the stock ones sucked.

Last time I was at the Service Dept., I was told Nissan is "working on a fix" for this problem. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon. - Jim

Are you going to Auto-X a TITAN?

I would wait and see what Nissan does first..  You will then have new brakes at no cost.. If you go changing out the rotors, they may not fix it at all..

Cross drilled rotors will increase the heat and may cause it to wrap sooner! We need bigger rotors with a 2 or 4 piston caliper.

Nissan is working on a 14 inch rotor fix but will they make it THE fix for the 04s with the brake issue is a question no one knows. I had the third brake fix done and the "new rotors" are just starting to move the truck in that "great they're warpped again way" Thanks for trying Nissan but your customers need a real fix and not another set of undersized rotors. Please ehlp your customers out or they might help you out of the full size truck market

Thanks for the replies.  I will wait and see what Nissan does.  That does make the most sence.

I just got my front rotors and brakes warrantied by nissan. the steering wheel would shake while pushing the brakes. they said that is a common problem for the titan in certain VIN groups. glad i got it fixed for free. all new parts and now its like a brand new truck again.

Took my Titan last week.  Service manager stated the in 45 days they are suppose to have a fix (bigger rotors).  I have had my rotors turned twice and only have 10,000 on 3/25/04 Titan.  Everytime that I haul my 4 wheelers, I get the problem. Big truck needs big breaks, brain surgery.

Yeah, my sales guy said that too.  The parts guy had another story....same part for everyone so far.

Wife has the 04 Armada

I have the 05 Tital

Both are the same.
