I'm looking for some recommendations for tires to replace the stock BFG Rugged Trail 17" tires.  Looking for something good for gravel/rock/sand; not so much mud or snow.

Thanks,

Chris

Check out the Yokohama Geolander.  They make several variations and I'm sure you can find one that fits your needs.  I had them on our Toyota Sequioa and they were fantastic. I will definetley use them on our Titan when the time comes.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I checked out Yokohama's web site (and others), and it looks like they have a good product.

So many tire choices out there, and so many are so similar.

Chris

Looks nice, but what did the 3" lift leveling and 18"X35 tires do to your 1. gas mileage  2. Speedometer accuracy and 3. Do the tires rub the frame when you turn sharp?

well as 4 the gas i used 2 get about 14mi. 2 the gallon now i only get 12, as for the speedometer i subtract 5mph of the actual reading, and no my tires do not rub at all, they did trim the plastic underneath the wheel well, can't even tell that it was trimmed.

Do you have any pics of what was trimmed. I have the level done, and was thinking of stuffing 35's in there, I was just worried about ripping up the stuff in the wheel wells. Thanks

don't have any pics, go into view member's gallery under my profile u might b able to see a little bit in some pics. in my opinion u can't even tell, they only cut the front trims inside the wheelwall that's why it's not noticeable. they didn't touch the outside trim at all
