hey all, sent in a sample to blackstone labs, oil was used in the titan for about 9,000 miles, the report shows the oil is preforming great!, ill stick to 10K miles between changes

Oil - Mobil 1 Super Syn 5w30

Oil Filter - Fram ToughGaurd

Air Filter - AEM Dryflow

thanks for the info misery.. read the report and it was pretty impressive. i use mobil 1 5-30w full synthetic too but do oil changes every 4t miles. i'm thinking of doing it every 5t miles next time. if you so decide to reach the 10t miles or more and have it checked again, an update will be appreciated. again thanks

How much better is the synthetic oil, does it really improve the performance?

i dunno about improved performance, but when i first switched to the mobil 1 super syn, i instantly noticed that the engine was running quieter than with normal oil, so that tells me theres less friction in the motor, so in theory, i guess there would be more power, but it definatly wouldnt be noticible on the road
