I haven't been driving my truck lately and when I went to back it out of the drive today I noticed it was awfully dark behind me.  Put the ebrake on, left it in r and jumped out to take a look see and there neither reverse lamp lights.  I used the outside cab light to get out, but...
I checked the fuse under the hood and it is good.  Not sure where else to look.  Neither reverse light lit, so I was hoping it was a fuse.  The brake lights/parking lights and blinkers work.  Any ideas on what to try would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

Any feedback is appreciated.

There is a reverse lamp fuse and t tow reverse fuse under hood that are good.  There weren't too many so I tested all the fuses under hood and under dash and all are good.  There is a reverse lamp relay under hood, but I don't know how to test it.  I also tested the bulbs to be good and I tested the wire from the bulb to the tie into the main harness on both sides and they are good.  The wires at the bulb are red/blue and black, but when ohming out to the harness on the harness side the red/blue is green/white.  I figured that wasn't the problem since both sides are the same.

I will be calling the dealer on Monday, any chance this would be under warranty?

TIA,
Ron

As long as you are inside your basic warranty period, I don't think this would cause any out of pocket dollars.  If a relay has failed then that would be warranted as a defect in materials.

I took the truck in today for a few things including the reverse lights.  Apparently somehow, sometime I don't recall, something went though the passenger side inner fender well and smacked the crap out of the electrical junction box(not sure what its really called) and severed two, possibly more wires.  So Nissan wouldn't give me an estimate to fix, so I think I am going to bring it home and clean up the wiring myself.  Not sure what the harness is called and the dealer isn't all that helpful, any ideas what the harness is called or a part number.  It is a flat harness that runs along the inner fenderwell on the engine compartment side and runs to a gray block that is covered with a black cover.
