On two occasions while climbing moderate rocky slope i 1st gear/low range at around 2-5 MPH the engine starts surging and will only respond to taking foot off accelerator. If I stop and shift to neutral and then back to 1st I can go on for a ways. If I proceed faster like maybe 10 mph (lucky to be able to run this fast) I don't have the problem. Dealer found Trans Code P0717 (Turbine Rev Sensor), but obviously can't repeat in town. They replaced a valve assy. This weekend I had the same problem. If this happens on a serious side hill situation the results could be exciting.

Anyone else have problem or suggestion. By the way it is a 2006.
