Ok first of all let's be clear!!  I love this Titan!!  I am just curious if anyone else has noticed this.  I just brought her home on Saturday.  The last few days of Driving it I swear I am noticing that with the AC on, I hear like a rush of air sound or a type of hissing sound.  It's hard to describe.  I think it might be the air compressor kicking on and off but isn't that under the hood and I shouldn't be hearing that in the Cab.  I must say, I have never heard anything like it in any other vehicle.  Speaking of AC, I don't feel that the AC is getting cold enough.  Is it me?  I might have the Dealer look at it but if it is just me than I won't.  Can anyone relate?

I know the sound you are talking about.  I believe it is coming from the area of the glove box where the micro-filter is.  It makes the same sound when you change the AC from outside fresh air to recirculate mode.  It is like it is cycling between fresh and recirculate.

As for the AC temp....it has already been 100 degrees here in Denver and I never have had my AC fan past 2 cause it gets nice and cool in my King Cab.

Its not you!  They all make that noise. I had a 2001 Frontier and it made the same noise. As for the AC, I am with Evil mine seems pretty darn cold as well

Thanks everyone!!  Great feedback.  Like I said, it isn't that I hate it, I am just not use to it so I thought maybe something was wrong.  Based on your replies, I think i will have the dealer look at it on Monday.  Perhaps the Refridgerant is low from production?  As for the Chem smell, I can not say that I noticed that at all.  Thanks agian for the info.
