I have the Nav. system in my truck and sometimes on the screen there are two rainbow-like 1/2 circles in the bottom edges of the screen where it says driver and pass. Anyone know what they signify??

and i thought i was on crack !
i see two rainbows as well. they appear once in a while when i turn off
the radio.
don't know what they are either. anyone??

I'm glad someone else has at least seen this.
I thought I was the only one using crack.... After 60 people have read this no one knows what the rainbow's mean??? Hmmm!

I posted to a thread in the Audio/Electronics section asking the same question.
I too have that. It is a glitch in the system...those "rainbows" with driver and passenger are meant for the Armada with Dual Climate Control.
My dealership replaced the A/C Control Unit and I have not seen it again at all.

It's not something that is burned into the screen, if that's what you mean.
If you were to drive an Armada with a NAV system these show up along with a Driver and Passenger temperature number within those blue and red arcs. It is basically the display area for the temperature setting of the auto dual climate control that is found on the Armada.

Thanks, I just thought it might be monitor burn in. If you have ever seen it. It appears as round circles of discoloration/rainbow effect in the corners of monitors. I am not sure if LCD can suffer the same fate but something similar may await them.
