Got my Titan March 2004. After a hot Texas summer, I notice that the factory sprayed in bedliner is beginning to blister on the walls of the bed (but not on the floor, yet). Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what did Nissan do to repair it?

I live in Az. It has been in the 100 degree temps for about a month and haven't had any problems here. I have only had the truck for about 3 months.

I got my factory spray-in bedliner in May also, and my problem is that it's too slippery.  To me, a bedliner should keep stuff from sliding & smashing around, and secondly sort of protect the metal.  I am looking for a plain old soft rubber bed mat now, so I don't have to tie everything down whenever I wanna go anywhere.  I don't think that factory bedliner is very good.

i got my truck about 5 months ago and i live in san antonio tx.. i havnt had a problem with the spray-in bed-liner ... and it gets mad hot here ... maybe you should take it back to the dealer and see if they will fix it under waranty ... dont let em push you around though if they try to tell you no ask to speak to the GM and esculate  it from there ...

You can acll Nissan and open a case with them and then proceed to the dealer with that information in hand.

I am in South Carolina. My truck is three months old. My bed has bubbles in the floor. Been after nissan and the dealerfor three months to get it fixed. They finnaly told me to bring it in. They are going to patch the bed liner. I thought I bought a new truck not a patched up truck. This does not seem right to me!

Call Nissan and complain they might get you more than the dealer will.

I live in houston, texas and my bed has also started to blister. I contacted my local dealer and they have the same problem. All they did was take my information and notify nissan about the problem. They told me that so far there is no protocol in place for that problem right now.

Protocol ????....wtf?....If it is a factory liner it should be covered under some part of the warranty...If it is out of warranty, thats a different issue, but I would make them explain to me how long it was warrantied...If it was still covered then they should fix it.

by protocol I mean that, there is nothing in place right know to take care of the problem.....whenever a car is built, and after a test period, the manufacturer will generally think about and find out what defects might happen and put some kind of plan in place. I guess the bedliner is one of those thing they didn't think that they would have a problem with.
