Hey, maybe was stupid on my part but I didnt think to check the tire pressure on my Titan straight from the dealership. I did today, because Im heading on a roadtrip tonight...well all 4 tires had 44-45 psi !!!! I checked the door sticker and it recommended 35...I checked the sidewall and the tire MAX Air Pressure was 44 psi. My mpg already sucked, I hope droppin 9 lbs of air out of each tire doesnt make it any worse...lol

I got back from my trip last night. I avg 16.6 mpg...which is about 1 mpg better than last trip. I doubt that changing my air pressure helped, but maybe leaving my tailgate up did.

I heard dealers keep the tire pressure high so the tires will not develop "flat spots". I guess they forgot to lower the pressure!!

I purchased the SE CrewCab Aug 21, 04 and did a cold tire pressure check the next day. All four tires read 25 psi and the tire warning lamp didn't chime. I put 135 miles on it at that point, again some dealer checkup missing here.

I drove my Titan up to the mountains and the tire pressure light came on when I got to the campground. When I finally came back, it went out again. That was in June. THis week the light came on again. The guage at the gas station read about 32 psi in each tire. I inflated all 4 to 42 and the light went back out.
I didn't think to check it after leaving the lot when I bought it.

Tire pressure light will not go out! Second day of use chime and warning light came on. Immediately checked all tires which varied from 32.5 to 34 psi. Drove home ok let sit overnight checked in morning. Again no change in psi, light still on. Deflated below 28.5 to about 27 lbs then re-inflated all to 34 psi. Light still on. Interesting thing is though the warning light came on when I activated my Rodady II XM radio which uses a FM modulater via the power plug in the lighter socket. Timing was exact, so I'm wondering if radio FM modualtion caused warning to sound? As the tire pressure system uses a radio signal to activate warning light. Still no change when XM radio is turned off and it never caused this to happen before? Any ideas on how to turn this light off? Thanks

Wow, I wondered how the Pressure monitor worked, ..but no I'm sorry I don't have that feature on my truck, and I don't know how to fix it..My only suggestion is to take it back to the dealership....GL

You need to air up all the tires above 35 lbs. Mine came on a few weeks back when the weather changed. I air'd them up at a gas station and didn't have but didn't have a gauge on me and the light did not go off. When I got home I air'd them up to about 36lbs and the next morning about 2 miles down the road the light went off. You have to go above 30-40mph for the light to go off.

Had the light come on a few days ago. Checked pressure, all were at 34 or 35, aired up to 38, but light still on. In to dealer today to fix a cut in the leather I discovered after delivery, handle the light problem and a strange "wooosh" sound, quite loud, from the A/C which cycled on and off every 12 second or so. Otherwise truck seems fine. Really love the power in cruise going up hill. Down hill is rather jerky but ok.
