I wanted to post this here first. As I have posted before, we already have the SS lines available for the Titan/Armada. Now I am working on an upgraded brake pad that seems to be very promising. We are working with Carbotech to develope pads for the Titan/Armada. We are currently testing the front pads in conjunction with the lines on a VDC equiped 4x4. Braking performance has been excellent so far and each week feels better. While towing 6500 lbs our tester noticed that the truck stopped very well, with very little fade. Then he noticed he hadn't even turned on the trailor brake yet. After that he was amazed at how well it stopped. In unloaded testing we noticed that the front seemed to dive under heavy braking compared to stock. We think that with the new pads, the front is biting so good it is disrupting the bias. I have just sent out a set of rear pads to be relined with this compound and we'll test it to see if it brakes even like stock, and exactly how much better. We plan on testing a stock 4x4 against our test mule, and we'll write up the results here and in NissanPerformanceMag.com . I'm thinking the whole upgrade, both sets of pads and the SS lines will run about $400. Does that sound reasonable for a big improvement in brake feel and performance?
