Air Conditioning:

Service says its normal - a "wooosh" noise coming from under dash passenger side.  Happens when driving, and not usually when stopped or in park.  Get a cycling noise about every 15 seconds.  VERY noticable "wooosh" sound for 2- 5 seconds, then quite for 10-15 second then all over again.  Loud enough to hear above the radio.

I'm not so sure about "normal".  The noise wasn't present for first 2 weeks I owned the truck, nor from the several Titans I test drove.  Service said they tested 3 others and all had the "wooosh" noise.   If this is normal then Nissan has a real design flaw as its annoying

Anyone else having this issue.  If yes, I get used to it, if not I need your posts to take back to service.  Thanks.

I've had my Titan for 10 months and 15,000 miles and have not heard what you describe.  Good luck with it.

mine sounds like the A/C is breathing... kinda has that Darth Vader sound to it. I thought it was normal, but its the first A/C I've ever heard do this.

Do you think something is wrong? My truck has done this ever since I've had it, and it almost has 3k miles on it.

Never had that problem.  I am only at 7000 miles, but my A/C has never made any noises close to that.  Good Luck !!

Sounds like it might be the compressor gas (is it still freon these days?) "swooshing" through the expansion valve maybe? I have not heard this on mine, but I've almost always got the music blasting!

Thanks for the replys.  I hope more do and I want to use the responses to reach a conclusion with the service people.

By the way, Cactus, I have installed the Bushwacker fender flares.  They are rather expensive for bits of plastic, but they install easy comparied with other vehicles I've put them on.  Only drawback is mud flaps have to come off as to the side badges.  I'll post pics when the sun comes out again.

I have the same exact sound coming from the A/C. I haven't had the time to really get down at look at it. I only have 210mi. on the truck and it has made this sound from day one. I had thought it was normal (even though it annoys me I figured I could deal with it). I most likely won't have a chance to bring it to the dealer for another month. If anyone brings theirs in please let me know what they find.
