I am looking at getting a set of 22" rims. What do I need to know to make sure they swap the sensor over to the new rim? i.e. were is the sensor? I have heard it is in the valve stem. So does this mean that they need to use my stock valve stems on the new rims? Or is it somewere else on the rim?

On most cars, there really is not a "Sensor" just for PSI in the tires. The system works off of the wheel speed sensor that the ABS system uses to detect wheel lock up. As a tire looses pressure it does not rotate at the same speed as the other three wheels do. The compter will detect this difference and alert you to check your tire pressure.
