For anyone that is interested, I just had a Yakima track system installed on my Crew Cab. It has two tracks that are attached permenently to your roof along the gutter indent, then you install towers and cross bars as normal. It looks very clean.

I was able to use the 54" long kit, plenty enough distance between the cross bars to secure a couple kayaks. I plan to add this track system to my cab high shell when I get it... then I can carry anything!

Just FYI, I got the same milage carrying 2 kayaks on top for 950 miles as I did without... go figure? 16.5 mpg either way... which still sucks I guess, but at least the milage did not go down!

OKie Dokie, hold your horses!

I'm putting on a fairing to get rid of the wind noise from the rack, after that I'll take some photos and figure out where/how to post them!

I have to say, toss a couple kayaks on top, a couple bikes in the back and the ol' Titan sure looks sporty!

Oh, I got it in my garage with 2" to spare! As long as I remember to take everything OFF the rack before I dirve in I'll be OK... DOH!

I know this is an old post, but I need a rack for the bikes too and was hoping someone has pics and descriptions of roof rack options. 

The standard Thule and yakima options don't have fit kits for the Titan, so I need to come up with something.

cactusjack - - can you post some pics of that rack?  Interested to see how much higher the rack makes the truck.

Anyone else got a roof rack installed?? 

Currently use the truck bed for the bikes but when I head out on road trips I need to keep my luggage /gear under the bed cover so the bikes need to go outside somewhere.
